Full casting has been announced for 101 Dalmatians The Musical at the Eventim Apollo in London.
101 Dalmatians will run for a strictly limited season at the Eventim Apollo Theatre, from 18 July to 30 August 2025.
Already announced is Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas as Cruella De Vil.
Sydnie will be joined by TV presenter Jeff Brazier making his stage debut as Casper, and JLS’ Aston Merrygold (The Wizard of Oz) as Jasper.
The show will also stars Laura Baldwin (Half A Sixpence, Waitress) as Danielle, Linford Johnson (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe) as Pongo, Samuel Thomas (Assassins) as Tom, and Emma Thornett (Bedknobs and Broomsticks) as Perdi.
The Ensemble features Dylan Collymore as Spud, Benedict Hastings, Lottie Johnson as Tabby, Rachel Lea-Gray as Madeleine, Kenan Lewis Smith as Patch, Callum Martin, Joe Sleight, Chioma Uma as Trudy, and Jhanaica Van Mook as Button; and Swings are Victoria Compson-Bradford and Ronan O’Hara.

Jeff Brazier said in a statement: “I love taking on new challenges and I’m so excited to absorb all of the acting experience around me from the cast of 101 Dalmatians. I’ll be working hard to learn my lines and looking forward to bringing smiles to lots of people’s faces throughout our summer run at the Eventim Apollo.”
Aston Merrygold said: “I’m very proud to be joining the cast of 101 Dalmatians and excited to be a part of this production in Hammersmith for the summer. The kids can’t wait to see their dad back on stage!”
101 Dalmatians follows the daring adventures of Pongo and Perdi, two protective Dalmatian parents who must rescue their puppies from the infamous fashionista Cruella. Determined to create the ultimate fur coat, Cruella’s villainous plans drive the musical’s suspense, promising audiences a mix of humour, heart, and high-stakes drama.
Dodie Smith’s timeless canine adventure barks into life in this dazzling stage production, featuring impressive puppetry, joyous choreography, and catchy original songs.
The musical is adapted for the stage by Zinnie Harris, and boasts songs by Douglas Hodge and a book by Johnny McKnight.
The production started at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022 starring Kate Fleetwood, garnering enthusiastic reviews from the critics, and toured the UK and Ireland last year with Cruella played by Kym Marsh (Coronation Street), Faye Tozer (Steps) and Kerry Ellis (Wicked).
101 Dalmatians The Musical was originally adapted for the stage by Zinnie Harris (The Duchess of Malfi), and has music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, and a book by Johnny McKnight.
101 Dalmatians is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with set design by David Woodhead, costume design by Sarah Mercadé and choreography by Lucy Hind. Musical supervision is by Alfonso Casado Trigo, orchestrations by Jack Hopkins, puppet design by Jimmy Grimes, lighting design by James Whiteside and sound design by Chris Whybrow. The musical director is Leigh Thompson, and casting director is Lucy Casson.
