Tickets Now On Sale for Inside No. 9 Stage/Fright Tour
Following a sold-out West End run, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith take their hit show on the road
After a sensational, sell-out season in London’s West End, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s Inside No. 9 Stage/Fright is heading across the UK — and tickets are now officially on sale.
The tour kicks off at Milton Keynes Theatre on 9 September 2025, before haunting and delighting audiences in a further 10 cities nationwide, including Sunderland, Canterbury, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Woking, Hull, Oxford, Stoke-on-Trent, and Manchester.
Currently in its final week at the Wyndham’s Theatre (closing 5 April 2025), the West End production has wowed audiences and critics alike. Praised for its dark wit, spine-tingling surprises and theatrical flair, Stage/Fright earned glowing four-star reviews across the board — including from The Guardian, The Telegraph, Sunday Times, TimeOut and The Financial Times — and even snagged an Olivier Award nomination.
Now, the creators and stars of the beloved BBC series, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, are taking the twisted, theatrical world of Inside No. 9 on tour. Fans can expect a deliciously devilish blend of comedy, drama and horror — with a new celebrity ‘hostage’ appearing live at each performance. The West End run featured surprise cameos from the likes of Stephen Fry, Lenny Henry, Mel Giedroyc, Michael Sheen, David Walliams, Mackenzie Crook, Meera Syal, and many more.
Speaking about the tour, Pemberton and Shearsmith said:
“We have been bowled over by the success of Inside No. 9 Stage/Fright at Wyndham’s. Selling out every performance before the run began and being nominated for an Olivier was fantastic, but the audience response has been even more moving. So we’re thrilled to bring the show to more people across the UK.
The phrase ‘swan-song’ refers to a final performance, supposedly beautiful — which is bollocks, really, as all swans do is shit and honk. But come along to our swan-song tour and see for yourselves how we bow out. There won’t be a dry seat in the house.”
Directed by Simon Evans, Stage/Fright features design by Grace Smart, costumes by Yves Barre, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Ed Lewis, illusions by John Bulleid, and video and projection by Duncan McLean.
Combining classic Inside No. 9 characters and storylines with fresh material written specifically for the stage, Stage/Fright promises a theatrical experience unlike any other — chilling, hilarious, and absolutely unmissable.
