Josh Finan, Reece Shearsmith and Hugh Skinner have been announced as additional guest cast members for Tim Crouch’s An Oak Tree, joining a star-studded roster including Juliet Stevenson, Dónal Finn, Suranne Jones and Tanya Reynolds.
An Oak Tree, which is coming to The Other Palace from 7 October to 15 November, is a mind-bending theatrical event whose groundbreaking premise sees a different guest artist join Crouch for every performance, stepping on stage without ever having read or rehearsed the play.
Since its world premiere in 2005, An Oak Tree has become one of the most influential works of 21st-century theatre, performed hundreds of times in more than 19 countries by a roll call of guest artists that has previously included Frances McDormand, David Tennant, Jessie Buckley, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Michelle Terry.
