Directed by Olivier Award winner Vicky Featherstone, this brand-new production brings Tim Firth’s critically acclaimed musical to London for the first time.

A fabulous cast includes Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan (Upstart Crow) as Yvonne, Hamilton star Michael Jibson (Stranger Things: The First Shadow) as Steve, Nancy Allsop (The Hills Of California) as Nicky, Victoria Elliott (Twelfth Night) as Sian, Luke Lambert as Matt, and Gay Soper (The Mousetrap) as May.

Winner of the UK Theatre Award for Best Musical, This Is My Family tells the uplifting story of a family holiday gone hilariously wrong — but one that ultimately brings them closer together. When teenager Nicky enters a competition to describe her perfect family and unexpectedly wins a dream holiday, she takes them back to where her parents first met. But instead of luxury, they find themselves on a disastrous camping trip that forces them to rediscover what really matters.

This joyous musical adventure is written by Tim Firth (Calendar Girls The Musical, Our House), with direction by Vicky Featherstone (Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour, The Royal Court Theatre).

‘Describe your family and win a dream holiday’. That was the competition pinging up on Nicky’s phone. So she describes the family she dreams of having, but not the one she’s got. The one she fears is falling apart. And then… she wins the holiday. Instead of choosing Rome or Orlando or anywhere else on earth, Nicky takes her family camping. Back to the place her parents went once, when they were her age, a thousand years ago. The place where they first met.
