The Olivier Awards has confirmed broadcast timings for this year’s annual theatre awards.
Once again, ITV will air a highlights programme on the evening of the awards, Sunday 6 April 2025. The highlights will broadcast at 10.15pm on Sunday, on ITV1 and STV1.
The highlights show will then be available on catch-up on ITVX and STV Player.
Magic Radio are also broadcasting highlights of the awards on Sunday 6 April, starting from 8pm, with coverage of the ceremony from 9pm.
TikTok will also return to provide Green Carpet coverage as their official mobile entertainment platform.
Other partnerships confirmed for this year’s awards include Mastercard, returning as the headline sponsor for the 15th year, plus Cunard, Piper-Heidsieck and Addison Lee, who have forged a commitment to sustainable partnerships this year.
Other sponsors and partners include The Londoner, The Lynne & Land Foundation, The Noel Coward Foundation, AKT London, Fujifilm, Global, Heart of London Business Alliance, Newman Displays, See Tickets, Blue I Theatre Technology, d&b audiotechnik, TAIT, Unusual Rigging and White Light.
The Olivier Awards will take place on Sunday 6 April at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Already announced are the hosts of this year’s awards, with Primetime Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner Billy Porter (Cabaret) and Olivier Award-winner Beverley Knight (Marie and Rosetta) on hosting duties; also the shows performing on the night; and the presenters of awards.
This year’s creative team for the Olivier Awards will see the return of Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia!) as Creative Show Director, with conductor and arranger Gareth Valentine (Wicked, Cats, Miss Saigon), orchestrator Mark Cumberland, and lighting designer Ben Cracknell.
