A brand new trailer has dropped for the show, which is now booking at the Ambassadors Theatre to 15 February 2025.
This acclaimed folk musical, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic short story and the film with Brad Pitt, stars Olivier Award winner John Dagleish (Sunny Afternoon, Sylvia, A Christmas Carol) as Benjamin Button, alongside Olivier Award nominee Clare Foster (Travesties, Merrily We Roll Along, Best of Enemies) as Elowen Keene.

The multi-talented cast also features Katy Ellis, Matthew Burns, Jonathan Charles, Oonagh Cox, Anna Fordham, Philippa Hogg, Damien James, Elliot Mackenzie, Ann Marcuson, Jack Quarton, and Benedict Salter.
The show has transferred into the West End after a sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse last year, where it earned rave reviews and won Best Musical at the Off West End Awards 2024. Reviews for the West End production have been no less stellar – catch-up on the West End reviews.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has a book and lyrics by Jethro Compton, and music and lyrics by Darren Clark,
The creative team includes Jethro Compton as director and designer, with Mark Aspinall and Darren Clark handling co-music supervision, orchestration, and arrangements. Choreography is by Chi-San Howard, costumes and associate stage design by Anna Kelsey, sound by Luke Swaffield, lighting by Zoe Spurr, musical direction by Mark Aspinall, and casting by Ginny Schiller.
Last month, the production also released video footage of two songs from the show – ‘The Kraken’s Lullaby’ and a performance of ‘When E’re She Looked at Me’, live at the Pelton Arms in London
