Tickets are now on sale for JUST FOR ONE DAY – The Live Aid Musical, the extraordinary new show coming to the West End’s Shaftesbury Theatre in London.

Following a hugely successful premiere at The Old Vic theatre in London, Just For One Day is transferring into the West End in 2025 – and it’s perfect timing!

That’s because next year sees the 40th anniversary of Live Aid.

Live Aid was two extraordinary concerts on 13 July 1985, one in London and one in Philadelphia. The concerts were to raise money for helping those struck by a terrible famine in Ethiopia.

New musical Just For One Day tells the incredible story of Live Aid – from the perspective of the people who organised it and starred in it, and the ordinary people who experienced that incredible day.

The brains behind the concerts were Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, who had already raised millions for Ethiopia in 1984 by releasing celebrity single Do They Know It’s Christmas.

This exhilarating show is packed full of the hit songs that featured in the Live Aid concerts, including music by Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Who, U2, Queen, Madonna, The Police, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross and more of the iconic artists who made history at the concerts.

The hugely talented cast of Just For One Day is led by Craige Els starring as Sir Bob Geldof, with further casting to be announced.
