Further casting has been announced for the Menier Chocolate Factory’s forthcoming European premiere of Power of Sail by Paul Grellong.
Olivier Award-winner Giles Terera (Hamilton, Blues for an Alabama Sky, Clyde’s) will feature as Baxter, alongside Michael Benz (Mike and Angelo, The Little Foxes, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead) as Lucas.
Already announced in the cast are West End star and Olivier Award winner Julian Ovenden (South Pacific, Downton Abbey) as Charles Nichols, screen and stage star Tanya Franks (EastEnders, The Truth) as Amy, Katie Bernstein (The Play that Goes Wrong) as Maggie, Georgia Landers (Rock n Roll) as Quinn and Paul Rider (Dangerous Liaisons, Hairspray) as Frank.

Directed by Dominic Dromgoole (Marjorie Prime ), the play centres on Harvard professor Charles Nichols (Julian Ovenden), who invites a contentious white nationalist to his yearly symposium, and all hell breaks out. Despite concern from his colleagues and protesting from his students, Charles refuses to budge. But is there another agenda at play?
The Menier are co-producing the show with Broadway heavyweight Daryl Roth. Writer Paul Grellong’s credits include hit TV dramas The Boys and Law & Order: SVU.
Power of Sail is running at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London from 20 March to 12 May 2024.
