SuperYou is an empowering female-led musical, celebrating the journey of a comic book artist who finds her voice when her own superheroine creations come to life.

Featuring mind-blowing female performers, new, iconic superheroines and an instantly singable, anthemic modern rock score, SuperYou is the heartwarming story of a woman remembering the power of her own voice.

At the core of the musical is a dynamic soundtrack that seamlessly incorporates a wide range of musical styles including rock, pop, hip hop, swing, blues, gospel, country, and show-stopping power ballads.

The show stars Vicki Manser (SIX) as Katie, with writer and composer Lourds Lane as Rise, Aaliyah Monk (School of Rock) as Young Katie and Lightning Girl, and Will Bozier (Moulin Rouge!) as Mi Roar.

SuperYou played a one-night-only concert at the West End’s Lyric Theatre in 2023, and is running at the Leicester Curve theatre from 22 October to 9 November 2024. There’s no current news about a West End run for the show, but check back for details or sign-up for alerts.

Who is in the cast of SuperYou?

The 2024 Curve Leicester production stars Vicki Manser (SIX) as Katie, with Lourds Lane as Rise, Aaliyah Monk (School Of Rock) as Young Katie and Lightning Girl, and Will Bozier (Moulin Rouge) as Mi Roar.

Completing the cast are Kingsley Morton (Heathers) as Ima-Mazing, Courtney Stapleton (Beauty and The Beast) as Blast, B. Noel Thomas (Sister Act) as Seven, Damien Walsh (Dreamboats And Petticoats) as Jay, Owen Lloyd (Clueless The Musical) as Matty, Belinda Lee Chapman (Nutcracker!) as Mom, with Lu Anthony (Trapped Between Stories) as SuperYouman and cover Seven, Elizabeth Chalmers (A New World) as cover Katie and Young Katie, Ellen Eckersley (Snow White) as Alternate Rise, Jacob Fisher (Singin’ in The Rain) as SuperYouman and cover Mi Roar, Jay and Matty, Bayley Hart (Greatest Days) as SuperYouman and cover Ima-Mazing and Blast and Catherine Saunders (Swan Lake) as SuperYouman and cover Mom.

The all-female band are: Musical Director Jenny Deacon, Associate Musical Director Issie Osborne, Maria Rocha, Laura Williams and Ashley Young.
