Strictly Comes Dancing winner Ore Oduba will star in The Rocky Horror Show, which comes to the Peacock Theatre in London’s West End this October.
Richard O’Brien’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll musical, The Rocky Horror Show returns as part of a sell-out worldwide tour, having been seen by over 30 million theatregoers.
Starring Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba as Brad and directed by Christopher Luscombe, The Rocky Horror Show is a guaranteed party and features timeless classics, including Sweet Transvestite, Damn it Janet, and of course, the pelvic-thrusting, show-stopping Time Warp.
Since winning Strictly, Oduba has performed in the Strictly Live Tour; made his theatrical debut in Greece The Musical; his pantomime debut in Cinderella at Fairfield Halls; starred in the UK tour of Curtains The Musical alongside Jason Manford.
The legendary musical follows two squeaky clean college kids – Brad and his fiancée Janet. When by a twist of fate, their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion whilst on their way to visit their former college professor, they meet the charismatic Dr Frank’n’Furter. It is an adventure they’ll never forget, filled with fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity. Created by Richard O’Brian it is a humorous tributes to science fiction and B-horror movies of the 30s through to 60s.
The touring production will play a limited 2-week run at the Peacock Theatre in London from 20-30 October 2021.
Tickets for The Rocky Horror Show are now on sale.
