Video: Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jimmy Fallon perform show-stopper for the return of Broadway

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jimmy Fallon performed a heart-felt, tongue-in-cheek salute to the return of Broadway, on The Tonight Show earlier this week.

Joined by a company of dancers, Hamilton creator Miranda and The Tonight Show host Fallon performed an original tune titled Broadway’s Back to pay homage to the return of hit shows including Six, Phantom of The Opera, Chicago, Dear Evan Hansen, Hadestown, West Side Story, The Lion King, Company, Come From Away, Book Of Mormon, Moulin Rouge, A Chorus Line, Aladdin, Wicked and Hamilton.

Joining the guys for a spectacular finale remix of You’ll Be Back from Hamilton are Broadway stars Phylicia Rashad, Kristin Chenoweth, Laura Benanti, Christopher Jackson, and In the Heights stars Olga Merediz and Jimmy Smits!

It was confirmed performances will return to Broadway from September 2021 following 18-months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
