ABBA Mania to play limited West End season this May

ABBA Mania will return to London’s West End this May for a limited run at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

A tribute show to the iconic Swedish supergroup, ABBA Mania features the bands classic hits including “Mamma Mia!”, “Voulez Vous”, “Dancing Queen”, “Winner Takes It All”, “Waterloo”, “Fernando”, “Does Your Mother Know”, “Super Trouper” and many more.

ABBA Mania’s producer Todd Littlewood said: “There’s nothing more perfect for reopening of the West End than the belt-out, feel-good music of ABBA.

“It’s been a tough year and as audiences begin to take their seats in auditoriums once again, we can’t wait to return to where it all began for ABBA Mania and make sure that joy is ABBA-solutely centre stage.”

Covid secure safety features will be in operation at the venue with temperature checks, contactless payment, socially distanced seating and additional hygiene protocols in place.

ABBA Mania previously ran at the Strand Theatre – now known as the Novello Theatre – in 2002 where it ran for 18-weeks. Following its West End season the show will be performed at the “Sounds in the Grounds” festivals in High Wycombe and Kirtlington, followed by a UK tour.

ABBA Mania is booking from 21 May 2021 until 6 June 2021 at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London.

ABBA Mania tickets now on sale.
