Star of hit US television series Lost, Matthew Fox, and An Education and The Ghost Writer star Olivia Williams are to appear in the world premiere of new Neil LaBute play In a Forest, Dark and Deep at the Vaudeville Theatre in March.
The psychological thriller about sibling rivalry, will run from 3 March for 12 weeks at the Vaudeville, directed by LaBute.
Matthew Fox is known throughout the world for his starring role as Dr Jack Shephard in long-running US series Lost. His other credits include TV drama Party of Five, and movies Speed Racer, Vantage Point, Smokin’ Aces and We Are Marshall. Olivia Williams has made numerous stage appearances including productions at the RSC, Donmar and the National. Film roles include The Ghost Writer, An Education and The Sixth Sense.
American playwright LaBute is well known to London audiences, with productions of his work including Bash, The Shape Of Things, Fat Pig, This Is How It Goes, In A Dark Dark House and Some Girl(s). His play Fat Pig opens on Broadway next Spring starring Josh Hamilton, and reasons to be pretty may also be opening in the West End, with rumours circulating that Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera could be cast in the lead.
An Ideal Husband is currently playing at the Vaudeville Theatre starring Samantha Bond.
