Animal Farm, George Orwell‘s allegorical tale about the cult of personality, power and dystopian dictatorship returns to the West End in a new adaptation by director Robert Icke.

A biting political piece that tells the story of the uprising of animals on Manor Farm against their human, Farmer Jones, in the hope of creating a society where animals can be equal, free and happy.

Olivier Award winner Robert Icke (1984, Oresteia, Mary Stuart, The Doctor) will be joined by set and costume designer Bunny Christie (Company, The Curious Incident of  the Dog in the Night-Time) and master puppeteer designer Toby Olié (The Grinning Man, War Horse).

A timely and prescient adaptation, Animal Farm is not to be missed.

Animal Farm is rumoured to open in London’s West End in 2022.
