Alfie Boe to play Jean Valjean in Les Mis?

After wowing just about everybody as Jean Valjean in the O2 Arena 25th birthday celebrations for Les Miserables – will British opera tenor Alfie Boe take over the role in the West End?

Rumour has it that he is in negotiations with producer Cameron Mackintosh to take on the role, something that fans will be pleased to have confirmed.
