Matt Lucas plays Fagin in Lionel Bart’s musical Oliver! for a strictly limited six-week run at the Gielgud Theatre, running from 22 September to 1 November 2026, alongside Aaron Sidwell as Bill Sikes and Ava Brennan as Nancy. Lucas joins the production shortly after wrapping his most recent stint as Monsieur Thénardier in Les Misérables: The Arena Concert Spectacular. Oliver! is currently booking through 13 March 2027.

About Matt Lucas
Matt Lucas is an English actor, comedian, writer, and television presenter who studied at the University of Bristol. He first came to prominence as the scorekeeper George Dawes on the panel show Shooting Stars, before achieving major success co-creating and starring in Little Britain and Come Fly with Me alongside David Walliams. Lucas has since built a wide-ranging career spanning film, television, and theatre, including a long-running, much-loved association with the role of Thénardier in Les Misérables across multiple stage and concert productions.
