The latest episode of Glee, currently airing on Fox in the USA, has seen the cast of the hit series take on West End and Broadway musical The Rocky Horror Show.
Episode 5, season 2 of Glee features new cast member Chord Overstreet as Sam take on the part of Rocky in Glee’s tribute to the cult sci-fi show, alongside Kurt as Riff Raff, Lea Michele’s Rachel as Janet and Amber Riley’s Mercedes as Frank-N-Furter.
The Rocky Horror Show was created in1973 by Richard O’Brien, who wrote the book, music and lyrics to the show, and has been constantly staged around the world ever since. It was turned into a movie starring the show’s first stage Frank-N-Furter, Tim Curry, in 1975 and remains one of the best-loved comedy musicals.
The new series of Glee will start on E4 in the UK in January.
