Following a successful 2019 UK Tour, Riot Act comes to the Turbine Theatre for one night to celebrate LGBT+ History Month.
Created and performed by Alexis Gregory and directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair, this one man verbatim exploration of LGBTQ+ identity is both hard-hitting and heart-warming.
Riot Act will be performed on 16 February 2020 at the Turbine Theatre, London.
What’s the Story?
Assembled from interviews with a survivor of the Stonewall Riots, a radical drag queen and an AIDS activist, journey through six decades of queer history in one evening, told by those who helped to shape it. It promises to be a riot!
Who’s in it? Riot Act cast
Alexis Gregory will star in Riot Act, he has previously performed in one-man shows including The Riot That Felt Safer Than Home. Gregory has also worked on solo pieces of theatre in response to events, such as Orlando, Judy Garland and the Fierce Children of the Light, written after events in Orlando.
