Hannah Tointon will join West End musical ‘Waitress‘ at the Adelphi Theatre in London.

Hannah will play the role of Dawn from 2 December 2019, assuming the role from Laura Baldwin whose final performance will be on 30 November 2019. 

Hannah Tointon is best known for her role as Tara in the award-winning comedy The Inbetweeners and as Violette in the highly acclaimed British period drama Mr Selfridge. She most recently starred as Zelda in The Jazz Age at the Playground Theatre. Other credits in recent years include, The Festival, Penny Dreadful, Call the Midwife, and Hollyoaks.

Hannah will join lead cast members Lucie Jones as Jenna, Joe Sugg as Ogie, Sandra Marvin as Becky, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter, Tamlyn Henderson as Earl and Andrew Boyer as Old Joe.

It was also announced Lucie Jones will continue in the lead role of Jenna until 25 January 2020.

Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a young woman whose talent for baking might be the path to a new life.

Waitress is booking until 28 March 2020 at the Adelphi Theatre, London.
