‘Waitress’ musical extends to March 2020 in London

The London production of Waitress has announced a further extension to its run at the Adelphi Theatre with show now booking until 28 March 2020.

The London cast of Sara Bareilles’ female empowered musical currently features Lucie Jones (Rent, Les Misérables, Legally Blonde) and David Hunter (Kinky Boots) in the lead roles of Jenna and Dr. Pomatter alongside Marisha Wallace (Dreamgirls), Laura Baldwin (Eugenius!, Big Fish, Shrek), Tamlyn Henderson (Mamma Mia!) and Andrew Boyer (EastEnders).

Youtube star and Strictly Come Dancing runner-up Joe Sugg is performing the role of ‘Ogie’ for a strictly limited season.

Based on the indy film of the same name, the musical tells the story of Jenna, a waitress whose talent for baking might be her escape route from her controlling marriage. The latest extension is the fourth booking period extension.

Waitress is booking until 28 March 2020 at the Adelphi Theatre, London.

Waitress tickets are available now.
