Full casting for ‘Ghost Quartet‘ has been announced ahead of its London premiere at the Boulevard Theatre in October.

Zubin Varla (Equus, Trafalgar Studios; Fun Home, Young Vic) and Carly Bawden (Sylvia, Old Vic; Assassins, Menier Chocolate Factory) will lead the cast alongside Maimuna Memon (Jesus Christ Superstar, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre) and Niccolò Curradi, who will make his West End debut in Ghost Quartet.

Ghost Quartet tells the story of Rose, a young woman who has been betrayed by her lover, a tree-dwelling astronomer. Seeking vengeance with the help of a passerby, Rose finds herself on a journey spanning centuries, continents and the cosmos. 

Written by Tony Award nominee Dave Malloy (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), the piece is
directed by Bill Buckhurst, with musical direction and supervision by Benjamin Cox, design by Simon Kenny, movement direction by Georgina Lamb, lighting by Emma Chapman, sound design by David Gregory and casting by Will Burton CDG.

Ghost Quartet is the inaugural production at The Boulevard Theatre which is lead Fawn Hames, director of Soho Estates. The venue will be home to a roster of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry, as well as staging musicals.

Ghost Quartet runs from 24 October 2019 until 4 January 2020 at the Boulevard Theatre, London.
