Following smash-hit seasons in London, queer drama Afterglow is back for a third London season.

The climax was just the beginning… S. Asher Gelman’s “steamy stripped-down look at gay intimacy’ (Huffington Post) explores the emotional, intellectual, and physical connections between three men and the broader implications within their relationships.

Reuniting its original, record-breaking creative team, including director and creator S. Asher Gelman, international hit Afterglow returns to London for a strictly limited season at Southwark Playhouse Borough.

The cast includes Hollyoaks star Peter McPherson, James Nicholson (Les Miserables) and actor and model Victor Hugo (Gemini Man).

Afterglow is booking from 12 January to 10 February 2024 at Southwark Playhouse Borough in London.

The climax is just the beginning.

When Josh and Alex, a married couple in an open relationship, invite Darius to share their bed for a night, a new and intimate connection is ignited. As all three men come to terms with their individual definitions of love, loyalty, and trust, relationships are challenged and futures are shaken. A raw, funny, and sensual exploration of polyamory, commitment, and modern love.
