Sharon D Clarke & Wendell Pierce in Death of A Salesman

Death of a Salesman starring Wendell Pierce transfers to West End

The Young Vic’s sold-out production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman starring Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Suits) and Sharon D. Clarke (Caroline, Or Change, Doctor Who) will transfer to the Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End.

Considered one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century, directors Marianne Elliot (Company,  Angels in America) and Miranda Cromwell’s 5-star critically acclaimed production looks at Miller’s play as seen through the eyes of an African-American family.

Pierce and Clarke will reprise their roles of Willy and Linda Loman, with further casting to be announced.

The creative team includes Anna Fleischle (set and costume), Aideen Malone (lighting), Carolyn Downing (sound), Femi Temowo (composer and musical director) and Yarit Dor (fight direction and additional movement support).

Death of a Salesman is booking from 24 October 2019 until 4 January 2020 at the Piccadilly Theatre, London.
