Caroline Sheen returns to Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical

Caroline Sheen will return to the West End production of 9 to 5 The Musical.

Sheen returns to role of ‘Violet Newstead’ from 4 July 2019 having received rave reviews when the production first opened at the Savoy Theatre in February. 

Louise Redknapp had been due to star in the role for the West End premiere however injury forced her to temporarily withdraw from the production with Sheen stepping into the role with only a few weeks rehearsal.

Caroline Sheen’s numerous West End credits include Les Misérables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Witches of Eastwick and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She also played the title role in the North American tour of Mary Poppins.

Caroline will star opposite Amber Davies as ‘Judy Bernly’, Natalie McQueen as ‘Doralee Rhodes’, Bonnie Langford as ‘Roz Keith’ and Brian Conley as ‘Franklin Hart until 31 August 2019

9 to 5 the Musical, which has music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, tells the story of three workmates who decide to take revenge on their sexist boss and make a few work related changes at the same time.

9 to 5 The Musical is booking until 4 April 2020 at the Savoy Theatre, London.
