Miles Jupp (Rev, The Thick Of It, Outnumbered) will star in a short West End transfer of The Life I Lead.
The heart-warming play about David Tomlinson, best known for playing ‘Mr Banks’ in Disney’s classic film Mary Poppins and ‘Professor Emelius Browne’ in Bedknobs and Broomsticks will run from 16 – 21 September 2019 at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London.
The Life I Lead is a richly comic and moving tale of fathers and sons across the generations and fills in the blanks behind a very well-known face.
Written by James Kettle and co-directed by Selina Cadell and Didi Hopkins, The Life I Lead has set and costume design by Lee Newby, lighting by Matt Eagland and sound by Eliza Thompson.
The production premiered to critical acclaim earlier this year, opening at Exeter Northcott and touring the UK including a two week run at London’s Park Theatre.
The Life I Lead is booking from 16 September 2019 until 21 September 2019 at the Wyndham’s Theatre, London.
