★★★★ “As blissfully funny as ever” – Evening Standard

Michael Frayn’s hilarious backstage comedy Noises Off returns to the West End starring Felicity Kendal, Tamzin Outhwaite and Mathew Horne.

One of the greatest British comedies ever written, Lindsay Posner directs a stellar cast including Felicity Kendal (The Good Life, Relatively Speaking, Hay Fever), Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, Rain Man, Pride), Tamzin Outhwaite (EastEnders, The Tower, Sweet Charity), James Fleet (The Vicar of Dibley, Four Weddings and a Funeral), Jonathan Coy (Anatomy of a Scandal, Relatively Speaking, Ink) and Alexander Hanson (Killing Eve, Follies, 42nd Street).

Michael Frayn’s celebrated plays serves up a riotous double bill, with a play-within-a-play that hurtles along at breakneck speed! Noises Off follows the on and offstage antics of a touring theatre company as they stumble their way through the fictional farce, Nothing On – with hysterical results!

Noises Off is playing at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 27 September to 16 December 2023.

Noises Off follows the riotous stage antics – on and off-stage – of a hapless touring production of fictional farce Nothing On. From the shambolic final rehearsals before opening night in Weston-super-Mare, to a disastrous matinee in Ashton-Under-Lyme seen entirely, and hilariously silently, from backstage, before we share their final, brilliantly catastrophic performance in Stockton-on-Tees.
