US film and tv star Jack McBrayer will make his West End debut playing diner owner ‘Ogie’ in the London premiere of Waitress.
Brayer is best known for his Emmy nominated portrayal of Kenneth Parcell in Tina Fey’s multi-award winning comedy series 30 Rock which also starred Fey, Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin.
Jack Brayer joins previously announced Katharine McPhee who will star as Jenna, Marisha Wallace (Dreamgirls) as Becky, Laura Baldwin (Eugenius!) as Dawn, Peter Hannah as Earl and with David Hunter (Kinky Boots) as Dr. Pomatter.
The 30 Rock star is also known for his work on comedy series The Jack and Triumph Show, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, The Campaign and They Came Together. Jack can also be seen in Cooties opposite Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson and ABC’s The Middle.
The smash hit musical features an all-female creative team including music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson, direction by Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
Waitress begins performances on 8 February 2019 and is booking until to 25 May 2019 at London’s Adelphi Theatre.
