Tickets for the UK premiere of Sara Bareilles smash-hit musical Waitress will go on-sale from Tuesday 25 September 2018 at 10:00am.

The Tony Award-nominated musical will begin preview performances on 8 February 2019 ahead of its official opening night on 7 March 2019 at London’s Adelphi Theatre.

The highly anticipated musical is brought to the stage with an all-female lead creative team – a West End musical first – comprising original music and lyrics by 6-time Grammy® nominee Sara Bareilles (“Brave,” “Love Song”), a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) and direction by Tony Award® winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly‘s beloved indie film, Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage.

Featuring an irresistible score, Waitress is an uplifting all-American musical that celebrates friendship, motherhood, and the magic of a well-made pie.

Currently playing its third year on Broadway, the production is also touring the US and has just announced it will have its Australian premiere in 2020 at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.
