Photos have been released of Circus 1903 which began performances at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith last week. Ringmaster Willy Whipsnade aka award winning magician David Williamson and his two loveable elephants take centre stage transporting audiences back to the wonders of the Golden Age of Circus.  Circus 1903's 2022 winter season at the Eventim Apollo features many of the incredible acts from previous years, with some brand-new acts to astound and excite audiences. Joining Ringmaster Willy Whipsade are David Schnabel on his acrobatic bicycle, contortionist Senayet Asefa Amare, Icarian Games duo Mikiale Gebrekidan and Temesegene Geberetnsaa, juggler Noel Landa, strong men Yani Stoyanov and Valeri Tsvetkov, Daniel Aguilar, Ronan Jenkinson, Mads Ludvigsen and Dmytro Sobakar performing Teeterboard, Tymofii Chemko, Oleksii Balakhchy and Hryhorii Koptiev performing Russian Bar, Sabrina Aganier performing Lyra, Keniel Rodríguez Mesa and Samantha Roxy Montes de Oca performing Rola Bola, and puppeteers Amelie Leroy, James Donovan, Jamie Morgan, Mikey Brett and Tom Norman who bring Elephant ‘Queenie and Peanut’ to life on stage. Circus 1903 reveals a world-class line-up for their 2021 Southbank Centre show arriving in London this December. Ringmaster Willy Whipsnade aka award winning magician David Williamson and his two loveable elephants take centre stage transporting audiences back to the wonders of the Golden Age of Circus.  Joining the Circus 1903 family adventure for the first time this year is 'The Russian Bar' (performed by Ukraine trioTymofii Chemko, Oleksii Balakhchy and Mykola Mykytchyn) which will entertain with exploits of equilibrium acrobatics in a delightful and delicate display unmatched on terra firma! These intrepid champions of balance and acrobatics are unrivalled, performing fearless feats of equilibristic exploits with courageous concentration and consummate composure. Queenie and Peanut, Elephant Puppets The show will also feature Brazilian teeterboard daredevils ‘The Daring Desafios’ (João Guilherme de Lima Siqueira, Luan de Souza Vieira, Leonardo Louzada de Freitas and Vinicius Vasconcelos da Silveira); legendary balancing act Rola Bola by ‘The Sensational Sozonov’ (performed by Russian artist Mikhail Sozonov); ‘The Cycling Cyclone’ (performed by German artist Florian Blummel); Ethiopian contortionist ‘The Elastic Dislocationist’ (Senayet Asefa Amare); aerial artist duo ‘The Flying Fredonis’ (performed by Russian artists Daria Shelest and Vadym Pankevych) and; the Russian Cradle featuring breath-taking performances from ‘Les Incredibles’ (Olavo Rocha Muniz and Denise Torres de Souza); and mind-bending juggler ‘The Great Gaston’ (Roberto Carlos). Dizzying Ethiopian duo ‘The Remarkable Risleys’ (Abiy Saleamlak Negash and Seife Desta Buser) will bring their Icarian Games act and finally the furious flexible feats of Russian Rolling Ball Hula Hoopist ‘Mademoiselle Natalia’ (Natalia Leontieva). The ginormous rotating fearsome The Wheel of Death will also return for 2021. See Colombian trio Carlos Mayorga Macias, Mauricio Venegas Torres and Andres Felipe Daza Venegas carry out eye-popping acrobatic skills whilst the wheel is rotating.
