Circus 1903 returns to the Southbank Centre this Christmas with a jaw-dropping array array of outstanding performers from across the globe. This international circus phenomenon transports audiences of all ages to the mesmerising Golden Age of circus.

Watch as the sensational puppetry team behind the award-winning War Horse bring elephants to life on stage and acrobats, contortionists, knife throwers, jugglers, trapeze and high wire performers astound with their death-defying feats.

Who is in the Circus 1903 cast?

Ringmaster Willy Whipsnade (David Williamson) and his two loveable elephants take centre stage transporting audiences back to the wonders of the Golden Age of Circus. 

Acts include ‘The Russian Bar’ which will entertain with exploits of equilibrium acrobatics in a delightful and delicate display unmatched on terra firma! Brazilian teeterboard daredevils ‘The Daring Desafios’; legendary balancing act Rola Bola by ‘The Sensational Sozonov’; ‘The Cycling Cyclone’; Ethiopian contortionist ‘The Elastic Dislocationist’; aerial artist duo ‘The Flying Fredonis’; the Russian Cradle featuring breath-taking performances from ‘Les Incredibles’; mind-bending juggler ‘The Great Gaston’ (Roberto Carlos); ‘The Remarkable Risleys’; Hula Hoopist ‘Mademoiselle Natalia’ and The Wheel of Death.
