Hamilton announces new booking period into 2019

The West End’s celebrated production of Hamilton has announced a new booking period into March 2019, with new tickets going on sale on 4 June 2018.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hip-hop musical about one of the founding fathers of America, has taken the UK by storm, winning 7 Olivier Awards from a record breaking 13 Olivier nominations at the 2018 awards ceremony.

With such high demand for tickets Producers Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh created a new paperless ticketing system to deter ticket touts.

Tickets may be purchased for performances from through to 30 March 2019 via the official HAMILTON ticketing channel. Fans can also opt in to the £10 daily lottery via the site.

The Broadway production opened in 2015 and was nominated for 16 Tony Award, with Best Musical among its 11 Tony wins.

The London production opened at the newly refurbished Victoria Palace Theatre on 21 December 2017 to widespread acclaim. The 7 Olivier Awards included the highly coveted Best Actor in a Musical for Giles Terera’s portrayal of Aaron Burr, with Michael Jibson winning Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his portrayal of King George III and a host of technical awards in lighting, costume, sound and choreography.

The cast is led by Jamael Westman (Alexander Hamilton), Obioma Ugoala (George Washington), Michael Jibson (King George), Christine Allado (Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds), Rachelle Ann Go (Eliza Hamilton), Tarinn Callender (Hercules Mulligan/James Madison), , Rachel John (Angelica Schuyler), Jason Pennycooke (Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson), Cleve September (John Laurens/Philip Hamilton) and Giles Terera (Aaron Burr).

Hamilton is currently booking until 30 March 2019 at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
