Casting has been announced for Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel’s production of Peter Pan at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.
Fiston Barek (King Lear, Old Vic) will play the title role of Peter Pan with Dennis Herdman (Around The World in 80 Days, UK tour) playing Captain Hook.
The roles of Wendy, John and Michael and played by Cora Kirk (The People Are Singing, Manchester Exchange), Theo Cowan (Lord of the Flies , Open Air Theatre) and Omari Douglas (Five Guys Named Moe, Marble Arch).
Puppeteer Elisa De Gray plays the role of Tinkerbell.
The cast also includes: Sam Angell, Raphael Bushay, Fred Davis, Caroline Deyga, Lewis Griffin, Willy Hudson, Arthur Kyeyune, Kyle Lima, Tim Preston, Louis Quaye, John Sandeman and Ed Wade.
Following the acclaimed Olivier nominated production in 2015, Peter Pan is revived at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre to launch the 2018 season.
Peter Pan is directed by Timothy Sheader (Jesus Christ Superstar, To Kill a Mockingbird, Running Wild) and Liam Steel (Lord of the Flies, Into The Woods), with set design by Jon Bausor (The Grinning Man), costume design by Jon Morrell, puppet design and direction by Rachael Canning, composition and sound score by Nick Powell, lighting design by Rick Fisher, sound design by Nick Lidster for Autograph and fight direction by Kate Waters.
Other productions in the 2018 season at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre include Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw (22 – 30 June); Shakespeare’s As You Like It (06 July – 28 July); Dinosaur World Live for ages 3+ (15 August – 9 September) and Little Shop of Horrors (03 August – 15 September).
Peter Pan is booking from 17 May 2018 until 15 June 2018 at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, London.
