Disney’s Aladdin star Dean John Wilson joins the West End cast of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I.
Wilson and Na-Young Jeo will play the role of the young lovers Lun Tha and Tuptim.
In addition to Aladdin, Dean John-Wilson’s theatre credits include Miss Atomic Bomb, Here Lies Love at the National Theatre and From Here to Eternity at the Shaftesbury Theatre.
Na-Young Jeon is known for portraying Gigi on an international tour of Miss Saigon, and Fantine in Les Miserables
The young stars join the previously announced cast members Kelli O’Hara (Anna), Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (The King), and Ruthie Ann Miles (Lady Thiang) who starred in the Tony Award winning production.
Director Bartlett Sher’s multi-award winning and critically acclaimed Lincoln Center Theater’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King And I transfer to London’s historic London Palladium from 21 June 2018.
The King and I is booking from 21 June 2018 until 29 September 2018 at the London Palladium.
