Shirley Henderson will return for the West End transfer of Bob Dylan and Conor McPherson’s Girl From The North Country.
Following a sell-out, critically acclaimed premiere at The Old Vic, the production transfers to the Noel Coward Theatre for a limited 12 week run from 29 December 2017.
Conor McPherson’s play beautifully weaves the iconic songbook of Bob Dylan into this new show set in small town America in the midst of the Great Depression.
Henderson plays the wife of an inn keeper who is slowly losing her grip on reality.
Ciaran Hinds, Ron Cook, Sheila Atim and Sam Reid will also reprise their roles from The Old Vic production.
Full of hope, heartbreak and soul, Girl From The North Country sits alongside Jezz Butterworth & Sam Mendes The Ferryman as this seasons must see shows.
The cast also includes Hannah Azuonye, Mary Doherty, Bronagh Gallagher, David Ganly, Adam James, Claudia Jolly, Karl Johnson, Arinzé Kene, Emmanuel Kojo, Debbie Kurup, Tim McMullan and Jack Shalloo.
Girl From The North Country will run from 29 December 2017 until 24 March 2018 at the Noel Coward Theatre.
