W1A’s Nina Sosanya has been cast in the West End production of Frozen.
Bryony Lavery’s psychological drama about the dissappearance of a young girl and the years that follow stars Doctor Foster’s Suranne Jones as the bereaved mother and Line of Duty’s Jason Watkins as the perpetrator.
Sosanya is the link between to the two, playing a doctor studying what causes men to commit such crimes.
Nina Sosanya is known on television for Last Tango in Halfax, Marcella, Twenty Twelve and Teachers.
Her extensive theatre credits include Platonov and Ivanov, Antony and Cleopatra, Fix Up and House and Garden for the National Theatre, The Vote, Privacy and The Vortex (Donmar Warehouse), Cat On a Hot Tin Roof (Novello Theatre), Love’s Labour’s Lost, As You Like It, The Herbal Bed and Henry V for the RSC.
Jonathan Munby, fresh from directing Ian McKellen in King Lear at Chichester will direct, with design by Paul Wills, video design by Luke Halls, lighting by Jon Clark, music by Rupert Cross and sound by Christopher Shutt.
Frozen will play a limited twelve-week season from 9 February 2018 until 5 May 2018 at Theatre Royal Haymarket.
