London’s historic Dominion Theatre has completed a major three year, £6 million refurbishment.
For those just passing the theatre it will be hard not to miss the brand new double-sided LED screen advertising the current show An American in Paris.
The LED screen is now the largest and brightest screen of all West End Theatres.
The extensive works to the landmark Grade II listed building included a full refurbishments of all five bars and ninety-five front of house toiles, re-upholstery of all seats, over 1 acre of new carpet installed and 400 gallons of paint used in the reconditioning of the gold detailing and plasterwork.
The refurbishement also included enlarging the orchestra pit, installing a new fly system and overhauling the electrics and lighting fixtures.
H0llywood musical An American In Paris is currently booking until 27 January 2018 at the Dominion Theatre.
