Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville will star in the West End revival of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night.
Richard Eyre’s production, staged as the centrepiece of Bristol Old Vic’s 250th anniversary season earlier this year, will run at the Wyndham’s Theatre in January 2018 with an official opening in February. The production will have a limited run through April 2018.
Tickets are due to go on sale in the next few weeks, once negotiations between producers and the theatre owner (Delfont Mackintosh) have been finalised.

Set on a fateful summer’s day, a family is caught in a cycle of love and resentment, haunted by the past yet unable to face the present. As day turns to night, each member indulges in the vices; as the truth unravels, four lives are shattered forever.
