First look at the London production of Enda Walsh and David Bowie’s Lazarus at the King’s Cross Theatre
Ahead of its opening this month, production photos have been released of Lazarus which transfers from New York with original cast members Michael C Hall, Michael Esper and Sophia Anne Caruso.
The Uk production will be completed by Amy Lennox (Kinky Boots), Gabrielle Brooks (The Book Of Mormon), Sydnie Christmas, and Maimuna Memon, Richard Hansell (A View From The Bridge), Jamie Muscato (Bend It Like Beckham), Tom Parsons (Once) and Julie Yammanee (Priscilla Queen Of The Desert).
Featuring songs from Bowie’s iconic catalogue along with new music written for the stage, Lazarus is inspired by Walter Tevis’ novel The Man Who Fell To Earth, and follows a man, Thomas Newton, who perpetually remains on Earth, unable to die, yet seeks freedom from this fate – a freedom which the arrival of another lost soul might finally grant him.
Lazarus runs until 22 January 2017 at the King’s Cross Theatre.
