Paul O’Grady, Julian Clary and Lee Mead to star in Cinderella

Initial casting has been announced for the London Palladium production of rags-to-riches fairy tale Cinderella.

The cast will be led by former talk show host Paul O’Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, camp comic Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.

The roles of Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sisters will be announced soon.

The enchanting tale of Cinderella will grace the stage of the West End’s most famous theatre this Christmas as pantomime returns to the London Palladium for the first time in nearly three decades.
