Snow White at the London Palladium

Pantomime returns to the London Palladium with an enchanting new production of Snow White.

Danielle Hope and Charlie Stemp lead a spectacular cast as Snow White and The Prince with much-loved comedienne and actress Dawn French cast as The Wicked Queen.

Pantomime royalty Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot return to the Palladium and will be joined by Strictly Come Dancing’s Vincent & Flavia.

The Brothers Grim’s enchanting fairytale is brought to the stage by the Olivier Award-winning team behind Dick Whittington and Cinderella.

Danielle Hope cast as Snow White at the London Palladium

Danielle Hope will join Charlie Stemp and Dawn French in the West End production of Snow White this Christmas at the London Palladium. The star-studded Christmas pantomime features Danielle Hope in the title role, with rising star Charlie Stemp playing The Prince and comedian and actress Dawn French as The Wicked Queen. Since winning BBC 1’s Over the Rainbow competition Hope has played numerous leading roles including Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz (London Palladium), Éponine in Les Misérables (Queens Theatre), Maria in the UK tour of The Sound of Music and Sandy in the recent UK tour Grease. She is currently playing Sherrie in the UK tour of Rock of Ages. Charlie Stemp returns to the Palladium having made his Broadway debut alongside Bette Midler in Hello, Dolly!. Last year Stemp played the title role in Dick Whittington and won rave reviews in Cameron Mackintosh's production of Half A Sixpence. Dawn French to star in Snow White at the London Palladium

The Vicar of Dibley's Dawn French will star as The Wicked Queen in Snow White at the London Palladium this Christmas. Dawn French, who is making her pantomime debut, is an original member of The Comic Strip, but is best known as one half of comedy duo French and Saunders. The actor, writer and comedian was last on the West End stage in October 2016 with her acclaimed one woman show 30 Million Minutes at London's Vaudeville Theatre. Emma Williams completes Dick Whittington cast

Final casting has been announced for Dick Whittington at the London Palladium. Emma Williams will play the role of Alice Fitzwarren, Dick Whittington's love interest, with Lukus Alexander playing Eileen the Cat. Emma Williams currently plays Helen Walsingham alongside Charlie Stemp (Dick Whittington) in Half A Sixpence at the Noel Coward Theatre, having previously played the role at Chichester Festival Theatre. Emma returns to the London Palladium where she made her West End debut as Truly Scrumption in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Ban Bang. Her extensive theatre credits include Mrs Henderson Presents (Noël Coward Theatre), Zorro (Garrick Theatre) and Love Story (Chichester Festival Theatre/West End). Her television credits include Silent Witness, Casualty, Bleak House, Doctors, Marple: The Body in the Library, Heartbeat and Where the Heart Is. Elaine Paige in West End return

Multiple award-winner and undisputed Grande Dame of the West End, Elaine Paige returns to the London stage this Winter playing Queen Rat in Dick Whittington. At 69, the Olivier Award winning actress has starred in more West End and Broadway musicals than anyone else of her generation including Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, Billy, Evita, Cats, Chess, Anything Goes, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard, The King & I, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Drowsy Chaperone and Follies. Paige joins previously announced Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin and Nigel Havers who all return to the London Palladium following last years highly succesful production of Cinderella. Also joining the cast is rising star Charlie Stemp (Half A Sixpence) who will play Dick Whittington, Gary Wilmot (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Chicago) who plays Sarah the Cook, and Ashley Banjo and Diversity playing The Sultan and his Entourage. Julian Clary, Nigel Havers & Paul Zerdin sign up for Dick Whittington

Julian Clary, Nigel Havers & Paul Zerdin have been cast in the pantomime production of Dick Whittington at the London Palladium. Following the huge success of Cinderella in 2016, the trio will return to the London Palladium with Julian Clary playing Spirit of the Bells, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin playing Idle Jack and Nigel Havers playing Captain Nigel. Producers have confirmed the show will be another extravagant production with spectacular sets and a book crammed full of the usual hilarious pantomime fare. If it is anywhere as good as Cinderella, where the only thing topping the elaborately lush costumes was the hilarious innuendo, Dick  Whittington is sure to be a hit. Pantomime returned to the West End last night with the opening night of Cinderella at the London Palladium. Natasha Barnes stars as Cinderella alongside Paul O’Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Amanda Holden as Fairy Godmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup. Stars including Cliff Richard, Gloria Hunniford, Tamzin Outhwaite, Steve McFadden, Gaby Roslin and The Krankies turned out to support the cast. Natasha J Barnes to play Cinderella

Funny Girl understudy Natasha J Barnes is to play Cinderella in the upcoming pantomime at the London Palladium. Barnes joins the previously announced Amanda Holden who plays the Fairy Godmother, Paul O’Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup. Also joining the cast will be Wendy Somerville and Suzie Chard as the ugly step-sisters. Barnes hit the headlines earlier this year when she stood in for Sheridan Smith following Smith's stress related two-month break from Funny Girl. Initial casting has been announced for the London Palladium production of rags-to-riches fairy tale Cinderella. The cast will be led by former talk show host Paul O’Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, camp comic Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.
