Nigel Lindsay joins Guys and Dolls West End cast

Nigel Lindsay will join the West End cast of Guys and Dolls as Nathan Detroit.

Lindsay takes over the role from Richard Kind and will play Nathan Detroit for a limited run from 26 May 2016 until 26 June 2016. He joins a cast including Samantha Spiro as Miss Adelaide and Oliver Tompsett as Sky Masterson.

Lindsay is no stranger to the role, having played Nathan Detroit in the Donmar Warehouse West End production in 2005. His other theatre credits include Bull (Young Vic), Speed-the-Plow (Playhouse Theatre) and Shrek The Musical.

Based on a story and characters by Damon Runyon, Guys and Dolls is sizzling tale of New York gamblers, gangsters and nightclub singers with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. The musical features all-time favourite songs Luck Be a Lady and Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat.

Guys and Dolls will run until 30 October 2016 at the Phoenix Theatre.
