Video: Watch Hamilton cast perform at the 2016 Grammy’s

The cast of smash hit Broadway musical Hamilton performed in a live stream from New York for the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hip-hop musical Hamilton performed the opening song from the production  in a live stream to the 2016 Grammy Awards which were held in LA on 15 February 2016.  The production, which won Best Musical Theatre Album at this years Grammy Awards, is about one of America’s founding fathers Alexander Hamilton.   In true style, Miranda made his acceptance speech inverse.

Since opening at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, New York in August 2015 Hamilton has consistently broken box office expectations.

Sir Cameron Mackintosh revealed late last year he has plans to bring the rap and hip-hop show to London with an opening date set for  2017.
