Beetlejuice the Musical has announced it will bring forward its scheduled end date, with a final London performance now set for 2 January 2027. The Broadway transfer was originally planned to run until 17 April 2027.
Following three smash-hit Broadway hauntings, Beetlejuice the Musical finally crossed the pond, making its West End debut at the Prince Edward Theatre in May of this year. The production was originally due to run until April 2027, but it has now been announced that the production is bringing forward its final West End bow, closing on 2 January 2027.
Based on Tim Burton’s 1988 cult film, Beetlejuice The Musical follows Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager unknowingly sharing her home with a pair of newly-dead ghosts and the demonic ghost with the most, Beetlejuice himself. Hailed by critics as a “hallucinogenic spectacle” with “sets to die for,” the show has been running on Broadway since 2019 across three separate engagements, playing 808 combined performances, alongside an 88-city US national tour and international productions in Tokyo, Seoul, Melbourne and Abu Dhabi.

The London production reunites the Broadway creative team, including book by Scott Brown and Anthony King, music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect. Tony Award winning director Alex Timbers leads a creative team that includes scenic design by David Korins, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and sound design by Peter Hylenski.
