About the play
Based on the beloved novel by Jerome K. Jerome, Three Men on a Boat follows lifelong pals Jerome, George and Harris, who always jump in to help each other out of trouble. So what could possibly go wrong as they set out on a carefree boat trip up the Thames, from leafy Kingston to Oxford’s dreaming spires? Nothing except torrential rain, alarmingly eccentric dogs, and a bout of hallucination brought on by some of the most dangerously rancid cheese ever cultivated.
Described as Jeeves and Wooster meets Apocalypse Now, this world premiere is a rollicking celebration of abiding friendship and calamitous adventure, featuring three men, one boat, and eighteen extremely angry swans.
