Jamie Parker is an acclaimed English actor best known for his stage working including his Olivier awarding winning performance as Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London’s West End. He also originated the role on Broadway where he was nominated for Best Actor in Play for his performance.
Jamie Parker recently starred as the Baker in Into The Woods at the Bridge Theatre, London; Next To Normal at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End; and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button at Southwark Playhouse Elephant.
Jamie’s other notable stage performances include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls at the Savoy Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre, and Scrips in the original award winning National Theatre production and film of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys.
Other theatre credits include: The Doctor (Harold Pinter Theatre), High Society (Old Vic), The Balladeer in Jamie Lloyd’s production of Assassins (Menier Chocolate Factory), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Theatre Royal Haymarket), The Gondoliers (Chichester Festival Theatre), Prince Hal in Henry IV Parts I&II and Henry V (Shakespeare’s Globe), Proof (Menier Chocolate Factory) andThe Revenger’s Tragedy (National Theatre).
Jamie’s television work includes The Long Shadow, Becoming Elizabeth, Des, Treadstone, Parade’s End, The Hour, Horne and Cordon, Maxwell, Silent Witness, Wire in the Blood and Foyle’s War, and his film credits include 1917, The Lady in the Van, Le Weekend and the 2008 World War II thriller Valkyrie.
