The Royal Variety Charity has announced the date of its annual fundraising event The Royal Variety Performance 2026.
The Royal Variety Performance is the UK’s biggest showbiz charity event attended by the Royal Family, and starring a spectacular line-up of West End shows, pop stars, comedians, entertainers and more.
It is also one of the theatrical highlights of the year, showcasing a number of big West End musicals.
This year’s 99th Royal Variety Performance will once again take place at the spectacular Royal Albert Hall in London, on Friday 20 November 2026.
There are currently no further details in terms of host, performers, or which members of the Royal Family will attend.
Giles Cooper OBE, Chairman and Life-President of the Royal Variety Charity and Executive Producer of the Royal Variety Performance said in a statement: “The Royal Variety Charity is thrilled that the Royal Variety Performance will be returning to the iconic Royal Albert Hall this year”, and that the annual event “remains a showcase for established international stars and is often regarded as a career-defining night for artists from around the globe!”
Tickets for 2026
The Royal Variety Charity has announced that tickets are going on sale for this year’s event from 9am on Friday 27 February 2026.

Royal Variety Performance 2025
Last year’s Royal Variety Performance – the 98th – was attended by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Albert Hall. Broadcast on ITV and around the world, the show is seen by a worldwide audience of 154 million TV viewers.
Hosted by Jason Manford, the event took place at the Royal Albert Hall on 19 November 2025 and featured a number of West End musicals and shows.
Highlights included Their Royal Highnesses meeting Paddington Bear, to celebrate hit new West End show Paddington The Musical.
Also Les Misérables celebrated its 40th birthday with a rousing medley of songs, and stars performing included Michael Ball, and Kinky Boots star Johannes Radebe.
