The Bush Theatre in London has announced casting for its forthcoming world premiere production of Heart Wall.

Written by Manchester writer Kit Withington, Heart Wall is running at the Bush Theatre from 7 April to 16 May 2026.

The show’s cast will feature TV and stage star Sophie Stanton (EastEnders, The Full Monty) as Linda, who makes her first appearance on the Bush stage since starring in the premiere of Jonathan Harvey’s Beautiful Thing in 1993.

The cast also includes Aaron Anthony (A Christmas Carol) as Valentine, Olivia Forrest (Falling) as Charli, Rowan Robinson (Brassic) as Franky, and Deka Walmsley (Ghosts) as Dez.

Directed by Katie Greenall, an Associate Director at the Royal Exchange in Manchester, this new play set in the North West of England invites audiences down the pub for an evening of family, banter, beer, and karaoke.

Billed as a bittersweet, tender exploration of the long tail of grief and the fickleness of memory, Heart Wall asks where we go when the walls start closing in, and home has become somewhere you don’t know.
