Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown gears up for its UK debut in London.
New musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown held a press launch last night (24 November 2015) at the ICA in London.
Hosted by Sandi Toksvig, the launch included interviews with the Tony Award-winning director of the show, Bartlett Sher, the show’s composer Jeffrey Lane and stars Haydn Gwynne and Tamsin Greig.
Haydn Gwynne and Tamsin Greig also sung numbers from the show, along with Spanish actor and singer Ricardo Afonso, who plays the Taxi Driver.
A new press still has also been released for the show, featuring the lead cast.
Musical comedy Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown stars Tamsin Greig as Pepa, Haydn Gwynne as Lucia, Jerome Pradon as Iva, Seline Hizli as Marisa, Anna Skellern as Candela, Seline Hizli as Marisa, Ricardo Afonso as Taxi Driver and Willemijn Verkaik as Paulina.
Adapted by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), the show is directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher (South Pacific), and will have a limited 20 week run at the Playhouse Theatre from 16 December 2014.
