Award-winning theatre company ThickSkin has announced the London transfer of its new ghost thriller It Walks Around the House at Night.
Written by Bruntwood Prize-winner Tim Foley (Driftwood), It Walks Around the House at Night is playing at London’s Southwark Playhouse Borough from 4 to 28 March 2026.
The drama comes to London following a successful UK tour, and the show is directed by Neil Bettles (Assassins, How Not to Drown).
The London cast of It Walks Around the House at Night will feature Oliver Baines (The House Party) as The Dancer and George Naylor (The Mousetrap) as Joe.
This chilling tale of unsettling and darkly comic surprises sees an out-of-work actor accept a well-paid job playing a ghost at a remote countryside manor. He expects nothing more than a few easy scares for curious visitors, but as night after night unfolds, the role begins to blur with reality and something far more sinister starts to emerge.
Writer of the show, Tim Foley, said in a statement: “It Walks Around The House At Night will be strutting its stuff around the country, and I’m delighted it gets to kick off its shoes at Southwark Playhouse Borough. It’s a horror mystery with lots of twists and turns, so London audiences are in for a real treat!”
