ATG Entertainment has been selected to operate a new, multi-purpose events venue in Milton Keynes.
Selected by Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP), an independent organisation owned by Milton Keynes City Council, the 4,000-capacity venue will be located at the Old Bus Station, Elder Gate in Milton Keynes.
The venue is predicted to attract over 300,000 visitors a year, and host a diverse range of shows, concerts, events and more.
ATG already runs the Milton Keynes Theatre, hosting tours of musicals and plays.
MKDP are investing £76 million in the venture, which is set to deliver £158 million in economic and community benefits, and create around 70 new jobs.
The development forms part of a plan to enhance Milton Keynes’ city centre.
ATG runs 10 West End theatres, including the Duke of York’s Theatre and Piccadilly Theatre, and operates 72 in total in the UK and around the world.

Current West End shows in ATG venues include Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre, Moulin Rouge! at the Piccadilly Theatre, The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, and Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
