More Memphis tickets to go on sale at Shaftesbury Theatre

Memphis The Musical confirms its hit status at the Shaftesbury Theatre by extending booking, adding more seats.

The hit musical Memphis starring Beverley Knight has announced that it is to extend its booking period at the Shaftesbury Theatre.

The show will now be booking to 31 October 2015, adding an additional 320,000 seats for sale.

The new booking period opens this Friday, 7 November 2014.

Memphis opened last week at the Shaftesbury and garnered some strong support from the critics and great audience word-of-mouth, especially for the star of the show Beverley Knight,

David Bryan and Joe DiPietro’s new musical won four Tony Awards on Broadway and stars Beverley Knight (The Bodyguard) as nightclub singer Felicia Farrell and Killian Donnelly (The Commitments) as controversial Radio DJ Huey Calhoun.

A big, talented support cast has projected this show into the big leagaue including Rolan Bell as Delray and Tyrone Huntley as Gator.

Memphis is directed by Christopher Ashley and with Choreography by Sergio Trujillo.
